Your
opportunity to be a part of the Frank Lloyd Wright
21st Century History
In 1927 Frank Lloyd Wright,
America's most famous architect, created a spectacular design for a gasoline
filling station. Due to funding and safety considerations, the filling
station was never built, until now that is!
More than 45 years after
the architect's death, his design and dream for this distinctive filling
station may come to fruition. The Buffalo Transportation & Pierce-Arrow
Museum© has undertaken its most ambitious project since the opening
of the museum. In 2004, through the donation of materials and services
totaling more than $250,000, construction on The Buffalo Filling Station
by Frank Lloyd Wright will begin.
Completing the The Buffalo
Filling Station by Frank Lloyd Wright will require additional funding
and in-kind services. In order to raise the addition funding needed, The
Buffalo Transportation & Pierce-Arrow Museum© has launched the
The Buffalo Filling Station by Frank Lloyd Wright Development Fund.
